New Years Eve; A day to celebrate a year’s accomplishments and goals. A time to remind yourself how many loved ones are in your life. A moment to look a head with open hearts and eyes of what you desire in life. All this and more is what I captured on NYE 2018.
My older brother Sean, had the joy of marrying his sweetheart Michelle on NYE at the gorgeous Stanley Hotel, in Estes Park, CO. With exceptionally cold weather and fresh snow, their wedding was magical feeling. Fireplaces surrounded us at every corner while the snowflakes fell on the Rocky Mountains outside. We ran from place to place outside to stay warm between shots (I think the high was maybe 12 degrees.. or in the words of my brother “It feels like a thousand bees are stinging me in the face its so cold”.) But the smiles were literally impossible to wipe off their faces. It is extra special when you see people you care about so happy to be with the ones they love.
The joy and love they expressed when with friends and family made the wedding warm and inviting. With full hearts, 2019 will be a beautiful year for these two as they embark on a new and crazy wonderful journey of marriage.
Congrats Sean & Michelle! I Love you both and am so happy for you.
