I have completed my second season as a very pregnant photographer and I am so grateful for wonderful couples who trust me like Shane and Nicole with their photographs despite me feeling totally silly squatting to “get the shot”. But I will assure you, that a couples wedding day is of the upmost importance to me and I take photographing a wedding day, no matter what state I am at, with the most complete honor and joy.
Shane and Nicole had one of the first true fall weather weekends of the year. It was colder than expected, almost dropped into the high 30’s, with fog, cloudy skies, all surrounded by the gorgeous Boulder canyon. The defused lighting allowed for colors of the landscape, flowers, and other details to pop. The foggy atmosphere made cozying up with loved ones an easy task, and also allowed for this couples smiles to be the absolute best form of sunshine and light. They were both glowing on this cloudy day with admiration for one another. I loved all the little details from Nicole re-waring her mothers wedding dress, cozy blankets for guests, and one of my favorite mediums- bubbles! These two took young love and made it last as these once middle school sweethearts tied the knot as Mr. & Mrs.
