So many smiles, so many proud reactions from parents, and so many cheers and tears from family and friends. Faith and Dylan’s wedding was not just pomp and circumstance to go through the motions of becoming man and wife, it was a true representation that love and commitment is worth celebrating with those closest to you.
In winter of 2017, Dylan found out he was being deployed. He was not fond of the idea of a long engagement with his high school sweetheart, and so proposed not just with a ring but with a plan of wedding bells just 4 days after his proposal. With just a few witnesses, they married one another and he left for his deployment overseas.
Fast forward a few months later, Faith found out that Dylan would be returning home in July and was able to plan their celebration with friends and family with a unity ceremony and reception. With hand written letters for their vows, the recited in front of friends and family the same letters they wrote to one another many months before- vowing their commitment and love to one another.
With the beautiful pride of an American soldier, and blushing young bride, their families farm was a perfect backdrop for their classically beautiful wedding. Faith wore her mothers original veil with a beautiful smile shining below, while Dylan looked incredibly handsome in his dress blues.
Here are my favorites from their summer, Colorado Military farm wedding.
