I’ve known Kadie for a while now. Her intense zest and passion for fun and life has always been obvious and it would take an extremely unique and talented guy to keep up with her wonderful personality.
Nathan, an old friend of Kadie’s at the time roommate and a tattoo artist, was offering a great deal on some tattoos while apprenticing at Tribal Rites. Kadie tagged along to her friends tattoo session and it was love at first sight for Kadie- however Nathan was pre-occupied in a relationship at the time so really did not give Kadie any attention.
6 months after first meeting him, Kadie could not get him out of her head and after doing some digging around, much to her thankful and happy surprise, Nathan was now single. So naturally, she invited him to a house party and her friend “tattled on her affections”. A few more days passed and Nathan finally texted Kadie and invited her over to hang at his home and see his “Lego collection”. Kadie had no idea what she was getting herself into but when she arrived to his bachelor pad, she was introduced to thousands, upon thousands of Legos.
She fell hard and she fell fast at that moment for that talented ‘nerd’ with red glasses.
The relationship built over time, dating, moving in together, adopting 3 pups and growing more and more in love together. Their relationship is honest, joyful, real and a relationship where they can be completely themselves. They are each others partners in crime and now planning their fall 2016 wedding.
Here are my favorites from their downtown Denver engagement session and you will see why I love this couple so much!
Congrats Kadie & Nathan! I am bummed I cannot shoot your wedding because of new baby Johnson but so happy for your bliss and joy! You two are so sweet together.
